Next chapter begins now...

Meeting Mary Alice and Austin at Starbucks almost two year ago, led me to capturing the most romantic and amazing wedding this year. Just watching the two interact with each other and seeing the way Austin looks at his soon to be wife, you just knew they couldn't see a future with out the other in it.

We spent over an hour talking about the details and discussing everything they had envisioned. Mary Alice knew exactly what she wanted and was looking for, and I was so honored to be the chosen photographer to bring it all to life.

The happy couple tied the knot in front of their family and friends on December 12th at the stunning venue, The Grand Ivory. If you have not been to this venue, you must check it out. It's a beautiful white barn venue on 18 acres about an hour outside of Dallas. It has a ceremony site that is perfect for all types of weather and the lightening is perfection. I could seriously spend all day on their property taking pictures.

Their ceremony took place at 2:00p.m. and it was magical. Leading up to the day was tough, due to the pandemic restrictions, but Mary Alice and Austin made it through and declared their love for one another. I also don't think there was a dry eye anywhere when Mary Alice broke down during her vows. They sealed it all with their first kiss as husband and wife. It was seriously the best wedding to end 2020. Congratulation to the new MRS AND MRS ROSS!

I asked Mary Alice to tell me their love story, and this is what she had to say...

Austin and I have known each other since Kindergarten and he claims I kissed him in the lunch line! So bold of me! Although, I have no recollection of this, he was my first kiss and my last. We started dating after I made the first move in 9th grade marching band. Did you know we started dating 3,027 days ago? We have loved each other through braces, all of high school and college, old friendships ending, new friendships beginning, 8 years of marching band, moving 5 times, and adopting 2 cats that bring us joy everyday.

He proposed by inviting me to take Christmas family photos with his family. We were taking photos just him and I towards the end of the session and the photographer said “alright guys, come on out!” Then my parents, my sister, and Kelsey walked around the corner and Austin got down on one knee! It was everything I could have hoped for!
