I am so happy to share with you Vanessa & James' engagement session at the Greenhouse located on campus at Texas Woman's University in Denton, TX.

I had the pleasure of sitting down with Vanessa and talk about their love story and how it all began and how wedding planning is going. Check out our conversation below.

JL: So, tell me Vanessa, how did you and James meet and where was your first date?

V: We met on Tinder. And we went to Torchy's Tacos for our first date.

JL: Aww I love it, so how did James pop the question?

V: At a Dallas Stars game, James was waiting for a goal to pop the question. I was poking at him by feeling his pockets knowing he didn’t bring the ring that I knew he had. I just didn't think tonight was the night. As the game started James started to get nervous. The Stars had two goals in the first minute, so it wasn’t the right time. In the middle of the first period an older couple sat next to us. This was James’ chance to ask them to film it for him. James asked me if I needed to use the restroom between the first and second period and I said yes. As soon as I was in the bathroom James bolted back to their seats to ask the older couple to film the proposal. I returned before James and had no idea what had just occurred. In a 3 on 5 play the Dallas Stars scored. In all the cheering James got on one knee and asked me to marry him. While the older couple captured the whole thing on. It was perfect.
