Macy Helton, Class of 2023
I had a blast shooting Macy's senior pictures in downtown Decatur, TX. The weather was absolutely perfect, not a single cloud in the sky. You would think with it being Texas, the heat would have caused some issues, NOPE. Fall just started the leaves were a mixed between greens and yellowish brown it was seriously a day that was written in movies.
We started out night at the local Whistle Shop cafe. The cafe has nice stone walls that made for the perfect backdrop against Macy's skin tone. There were so many photo op locations all in one spot. If we stayed there, it still would have been the perfect session.
Next on our journey, I was able to have some fun with Macy in her cheerleading uniform. She is on the varsity team this year. She told me that have five different uniforms, but I knew the blue one was already my favorite. We weren't able to get on the field since it was game night for the freshmen and JV but we still had fun at the high school.
Later, we ended the session in downtown Decatur. There is a lot of locally own businesses that line the streets of the square. With all of the different color buildings, no matter where we went, the images were just dreamy.
It might have been a long night, but Macy was a rock star and the camera loved her! Check out her amazing Senior session below.
