Can you believe it is DECEMBER?

It feels like just yesterday we were ringing in the New Year and now we are putting up our Christmas trees and decorating for the holidays with our families all over again. But if you know anything about Texas, you know that in one single day you can go through all of the seasons, it's one of my favorite things about Texas and being a portrait photographer.

Jennifer reached out to me a little before Thanksgiving and asked if I had anytime availability for a quick family session. She hasn't had them done before, so what better time than now. Even though it is prime wedding season, I was going to make this session happen. I have known Jennifer for twenty plus years, we use to hang out together while in grade school, and now as we both have grown up and started our own families, I was excited to be a part of this chapter in her life as well.

She didn't have to many requests, except make her look good. (No additional work was done on my end, she glowed when she was with her family all on her own). I started thinking about the perfect location for her session, and that's when I thought, what better location than Grapevine Botanical Gardens. The colors SCREAM fall. From trees, to bridges, to open fields and waterfalls, Grapevine had it all.

The session turned out perfect, I could not have asked for a better day. The weather was amazing. The gardens had everything I pictured, and Jennifer and her family looked amazing! I am so glad I was able to capture these for her.

Okay let's be honest....

They are seriously the cutest family you have ever seen. From the gorgeous curling hair to those dimples and smiles, I can't help but smile each time I look at these images. It's okay, you can be jealous.
